Kansas City Museum is undergoing an extensive renovation and restoration of the site. At this moment they still continue to maintain regular operating hours and admission is free. Everyone must enter the KC Museum site through the North gate and must follow the arrow and park on the street for everyone's safety.  They are open to the public Wed-Sat 10am to 4pm, Sun- noon-4pm.

The first Kansas City Museum and most important museum of local and regional history, the museum is the house and the former urban estate of lumber baron and civic leader Robert A. Museum admission to American Jazz Museum or the Negro League Baseball Museum is $8 for adults & $3 for kids (under 12). A combination of tickets for both museums is $10 for adults and $5 for kids (under 12). Tickets for a groups of 25 or more (to both museums) is $6  adults and $3 for kids.
